Working closely with RMI’s Built Environment Team, Sustainable Cities unit, and Energy and Resources Team, MOVE is extensively involved in advanced research  and client partnerships to radically improve complex systems that include transportation.

Examples of such systems range from freight logistics to large retail chains to urban planning.

Our transportation systems work includes:

• Collaborating with our Built Environment, Sustainable Cities, and Energy and Resources Teams to develop efficient transportation systems for real estate developments and large corporations -- including transit-oriented development
• Accelerating the development of new transportation energy paradigms such as the Smart Garage, via cross-industry Innovation Labs
• Advanced research into transportation systems, including the influence of a new green energy economy on freight patterns and development of models for regenerative transportation.
